The mysterious old geezer!!!!!!!

Itsuki slowly woke up as Takeo tapped his shoulder. He blinked his eyes open, and being half awake, only heard about half of what Takeo was telling him. Something about the market, and the apartment, so Itsuki assumed that Takeo wanted Itsuki to go with him to get some food, so Itsuki quickly got dressed. Part of his green hair was matted down on the side of his face, Itsuki had been out late last night on a difficult mission, and he passed out as soon as he got home. Itsuki slung a leather pack over his back, to carry the food, he'd seen the fridge recently, and it wasn't something that would be fixed with some light shopping, they'd need a heavy supply of food to fill that baby back up. After a few short minutes, Itsuki was dressed and out the door, they lived on the second story of an apartment building, but he didn't feel like walking down, so he hopped the rail and landed lightly. He saw Takeo ahead, waiting for him to come, so Itsuki walked quickly towards him. "Shall we?" Itsuki said, as he began to stroll towards the market place.

Itsuki had an annoyed expression on his face, when he looked at the old man. "Hurry up, I want to get this done as quickly as I can." Itsuki said with a frustrated expression on his face as he rolled his eyes at the geezer. The old merchant looked offended, but told them the problem. To sum it up, the man needed to be to a semi-close village and back before sundown, because his first born granddaughter was getting married the next morning. He wasn't as young as he used to be, and these trips keep taking longer and longer, plus there had been reports of recent bandit activity in the area, and some caravans had been attacked already. Itsuki registered all that, and replied with, "okay, well, it's going to take a while to walk there and back. Let's get going now, I guess." Itsuki flashed a fiery orange eyed glare at Takeo, before he started walking, contemplating the idea of kicking the old man in his weak knees, and heading back home, but he disregarded the thought. He was just going to have to suffer through, he supposed.

After a long time walking, the sun was now at the top of the sky, rather than when it was rising on the horizon when Itsuki first woke up and got dragged along on this pointless little venture. Itsuki we definently not happy about this, one bit, and wanted to make sure that his companions knew it. He had a grumpy expression on, and whenever he talked, which was barely the case, he sounded extremely annoyed. The sun was beating down on them like a drum, and Itsuki was starting to sweat, but they were almost there. Then he heard a noise in the nearby underbrush, Itsuki whipped his head towards that direction and activated his Saibougan, to see through the leaves and twigs to see what was making so much noise, it was too loud to be a rabbit, so he wanted to check it out. Apparently, he wasn't quick enough, because right when he activated his eyes, his enemies sprang into action! There were 10 enemies, so Itsuki kept his Saibougan activated, and reached for Hakahori, preparing for a fight!

As soon as Takeo started fighting, 3 ninja dashed at Itsuki in sync, one of them went for a low sweep, another for a chest attack, and the last with an aerial sword attack. The men all had weapons of some sort, a hammer, a katana, and a bokken, Itsuki knew he couldn't fight them all without getting bruised up a bit, so instead he activated his trap maneuver. "Dochuu Senkou" Itsuki said to himself, as he went underground, the enemies attacks grazing his hair. He looked up through the earth, with his Saibougan, and saw the men looking around at the ground trying to find Itsuki, completely confused. Itsuki had the element of surprise on his side. Itsuki emerged from the ground quickly, and jumped into the air, before his enemies could see him, he preformed the necessary hand seals for his Youton: Youkai no Jutsu and released a great deal of lava at his opponents. One of the men turned just in time to dodge the attack and warn his partners, one of the said partners was quick enough to dodge the majority of the lava, but his arm was caught, the other one was... not so lucky. Trapped under the sheet of lava, his screams of pain couldn't be heard as he died. Itsuki then dashed through the steam caused by this jutsu and quickly beheaded the one with the now half-melted arm as if killing another human was child's play. He saw the last man through the steam, and dashed at him, that man parried Itsuki's attack with his very own katana, and they clashed. Eventually Itsuki hit him hard enough at the right part, where the man stumbled back, just long enough for Itsuki to preform a jutsu. "Youton: Sekkaigyou no Jutsu!" Itsuki yelled at the man, as he shot quicklime into the mans eyes, without a doubt blinding him. Itsuki now walked towards the man who was trying to scramble away, blindly, not knowing where Itsuki was coming from, screaming and crying from empty eye sockets. Itsuki kicked the man on his back, lifted his leg high, and stomped down as hard as he could. The man was still alive, but definently dying, and so Itsuki put him out of his misery, with another powerful blow by Itsuki's leg, the mans head exploded, and Itsuki faced the rest of the battle field. There was 3 people left alive, and they all had frightened expressions on their faces. Takeo had dealt with 4 shinobi, and Itsuki 3, the remaining ninja just watched their allies die before them...

Itsuki watched as the miniature blazing suns, that Takeo summoned, melted away the remaining enemies like they were popsicles! Itsuki shrugged and walked towards Takeo, when he saw the old merchant dash at and attack Takeo, who then retaliated with a blow to the stomach. He quickly put the pieces together and jumped at the old man, hitting him in the head extremely hard with the hilt of his Hakahori. The man went down, and Itsuki used his Youton: Sekkaigyou no Jutsu on the unconscious old man's arms and legs binding him to a nearby tree. The old man woke up with a start yelling, "Hm, the pain of burning probably woke you up, good..." Takeo started talking, "so, why did you attack us, we were helping you! Answer, now!" Itsuki rolled his eyes, like he wasn't interested. The old man replied, with hatred in his voice, "It was all a set up, but you ruined my plans! I'll have you head, don't think you can get away with this! Turn me in, I don't care, I'll be out by the next day! I have connections, you two better watch your--!" Itsuki got annoyed, drew Hakahori, slit the mans throat in a flash, and then sheathed his black blade once again. "Shut up, I honestly don't give a fuck." Itsuki said with annoyance as he started walking back to the Imperial City. What a waste of time, damn it Takeo, see what being a nice guy gets you in...? Itsuki thought, as he told his companion, "hurry up, we got a long walk home..."
