Clans once meant something entirely different from what it does today. Once used to describe an extended ninja family, it is now used by ninja of many backgrounds to descibe a group of like-minded people. Below you will find the most prominent clans of the new Ninja world, as well as what they stand for. Being part of a clan does not grant you benefits, it only decides your stand point.

Named after the hero of the ninja world, the Naruto clan is made up of the loyalists of the Shougun and the followers of the Will of Fire, a principle of peace cherished first by Ashura, son of the Rikudou Sennin. They believe that peace is worth fighting for, though that love is the true path. Their headquarters is the Imperial City.

Named after one of the clans of old, the Uchiha clan adopted the thinking of the first son of the Rikudou Sennin, Indra, and are natural rivals of the Naruto clan, for they wish for nothing but power. Driven by greed and jealousy, they lash out in order to take the power of the Shougun for themselves, soiling the name of Uchiha in the process. Despite their name, not all members are descendants of Uchiha, nor is all descendants of Uchiha a member of this clan. It is merely symbolic in meaning. Their headquarters is located in Kaminari no Chihou.

The Hiseki clan is a group of conservative ninja, who wish for nothing but for the old system to return. They wish for their clans and their villages to become what they once were, in order to keep their secrets close to them, and not let hundreds of years of tradition die. Many, but not all, are descendants of clan leaders, and would have been in positions of power. For the same reason, not many ninja of this clan intermingle, preferring to keep their line pure. Their headquarters is located in Tsuchi no Chihou.

Magattatsuki (means Twisted Moon) is a clan founded by Shirokuro, and it's inhabitants are anyone that side with him. The purpose of the organization is to make an army of the strongest ninja in the new ninja world. By illegally gaining kekkei genkai, hiden jutsu, and other powerful styles, Shirokuro will distribute the power equally throughout his allies, as long as they aid him in his plans of world domination. Though people can join for their own reasons and motives, in the end, as long as they help Shirokuro he couldn't care less. Members are split into groups of two's or three's to increase success rate. The group headquarters are hidden in Mizu no Chihou, it is extremely hard to locate because most of the village is underground, split apart on multiple islands, and some parts are underwater. The main headquarters is hidden on an island. Fortunately, the other villages don't know about the Magattatsuki's illegal affairs, but with Shirokuro's plans coming together, he may become more open about them.
Shirokuro set up an elaborate disguise for the entire Magattatsuki Clan. All the islands that are important to Magattatsuki are hidden by the Hidden Surface Optical Illusion Technique, while the decoy, a village that is much smaller than the Imperial City, but almost the size of a normal major clan village, is put where the so called "Keimei Clan" is located. He lie to the Shogun and all the other Kage, and set up a fake village to hide his tracks. Now, the rest of the world knows him as the Mizukage of the Keimei Clan, but his close companions know him as the King of Magattatsuki! It's only a matter of time before he's caught, though...
Goal: To complete the "Reset" plan, and get rid of any village or shinobi that opposes Shirokuro and/or Magattatsuki. The "Reset Plan" was a job assigned by Dark Shirokuro that had manifested while he was being tested on. Being trapped in a cage for his entire life, until he broke free and got his first taste of freedom. This caused greed to swell and grow inside of him, and Light Shirokuro just went along with it. Now, Shirokuro wants the world, and he will take anyone's assistance and take anyone to the top with them, as long as they are on his side, if not, well then he wants you too.
The members wear a cloak or cape which is red and has the group symbol in black.

This cursed seal is given to all members of the organization Magattatsuki by Shirokuro Homunkurusu, to ensure no information about Shirokuro or the organisation falls into the wrong hands. If Shirokuro dies, the seal will disappear from all the Magattatsuki members.
When the wearer of this cursed seal speaks about anything incriminating related to Shirokuro or Magattatsuki, the words will be stolen from them and a surge of pain will go through their body. It is applied to the tongue and takes the shape of three solid lines and two broken lines from the back of the tongue to the tip.[/PTab][/PTabbedContent][/PTab]

This clan is closely allied with the Naruto Clan it's older leader was Gaara of the Sand. The clan has the same beliefs and ideals as the Naruto Clan because Naruto's ideas rubbed off on Gaara. Therefore they follow the will of fire and believe that peace is something to fight for. They follow the orders from their Kage and listen to the Shogun's ideas. There main headquarters is the City of Sand which lies in Kaze No Chihou.
