Akimoto was sitting in his mansion, throwing a tennis ball at a wall and catching it when it bounced back. It was Sunday morning. The sun was out, with not a single cloud was blocking its view. He stopped throwing the ball and looked out a window. It was a beautiful day. I should do something today. Just then Akimoto stood up and stretched. He walked outside and stood on the porch. The sun was beating down on the old wood steps that lead up to the mansion, giving them a washed out look. He stepped out onto them. They creaked as he walked down to the street. The street had a few scattered people going about their business.

Katai was in his palace enjoying the breakfast a servant just served to him. He looked out of his balcony, the edge was damaged and a section of railing was missing. Katai stood at the very edge and looked out at the sunrise. Just as he spotted it his Doujutsu, Yahigan, activated. Katai was suddenly filled with a burst of energy. I think I'll head to the market, and greet some of my people right as he finished his the thought he jumped down from the balcony and down unto the street and started walking to the cities main market.

Akimoto was walking to the center of town where the main market was. He was board. He didn't need groceries or anything, he just felt like going on a walk thought the populated part of town. Hey maybe he would even run into the Shogun for all he knew. He entered the market and started walking down the sidewalk where small shops were lined up. As he walked by the shops people constantly were trying to sell things to him, but he knew the city well and knew that most of them were selling junk. He entered the central square of the city and sat down on a bench.

Katai was walking though the market greeting people as he walked by them. He started walking down a sidewalk lined up with shops and just like with Akimoto, people were trying to sell him stuff but instead of ignoring them, he would give them a polite "No thank you." Eventually Katai entered the same central square as Akimoto. Katai spotted Akimoto's red hair immediately and went to sit with him. He sat down without even looking at him.

Akimoto saw Katai as he entered the square. When Katai sat next to him Akimoto glanced at him, and noticed his eyes. Yahigan? I guess my mother has the Sharingan. Akimoto activated his Sharingan and looked at Katai. "So I inherited this from my mother... Where is she anyways?" He was leaning back. The slight tension between the two was building fast. What happened to Akimoto's mother? Who was she? So many questions that were unanswered.

Katai contemplated what Akimoto had said. What happened to her? Even Katai had no idea what happened to her. "I guess you did inherit after her, she was a masterful Genjutsu user." Katai suddenly had a thought about her. "After I started getting into politics she disappeared. I think she left me... but that was years ago. Who knows where she is now." Katai posed his own question. "Do you use Genjutsu too?" Katai was hoping that he did. He wanted him to have something in common with her.

Akimoto was sick of talking to his dad, it made him sad "No, I don't use Genjutsu." Akimoto stood up and walked away from the bench. Katai stayed sitting at the bench. Akimoto went back to his mansion and sat back down on his couch and started throwing a ball at the wall again. He left Katai at the market without a word. He knew that he would understand.
