Kigen had bee told by Shirokuro that Kurai was to be his partner. He didn't recall much about Kurai but figured he should probably meet them. So Kigen had left a note asking to meet him near a small lake so they could get to know each other. Kigen hoped Kurai would show so that he could at least learn a bit about who was to cover his back. So kigen sat on the surface of the water. His chakra control placing a barrier between himself and the water to allow him to float on top.

Kurai was supposed to meet his new 'partner'. It seemed Magattatsuki was getting more and more members, but Kurai paid little attention to it. He got a note to go to a lake near the village, he put one his robes and left in the direction of the lake. It was early in the morning and the air was fresh, things seemed peaceful for once. Kurai was approaching the lake and he noticed Kigen sitting in the middle. Kurai walked over to Kigen, as he approached him he looked down. "Hello Kigen... you wanted to meet me.." Kurai said in a monotone voice. |

Kigen had sat with his eyes close for the better part of an hour. Opening his eyes now they were not accustomed to the light that was reflecting off the lake's surface. The rays had been sinking into his skin and Kigen felt the strength in his body from the solar power. While Kigen's eyes were temporarily blinded by the sudden light he got a brief thermal overview of his new partner. The man didn't seem like anything special but who was he to judge. "Kyoushikyoku, Kigen. I am here because I wish to find someone. After I have found them I will most likely pick someone else to track down. I have no loyalty towards Shirokuro other then the seal he placed on my tongue." At the mention of his name Kigen felt his tongue numb slightly as the seal activated a little. That would prove bothersome before long but apparently it was necessary. "What about yourself?" Kigen was asking so that he could get an inkling into this man and what his goals were. Perhaps he too was capable of helping him.

Kurai was listening to Kigen patiently waiting for his turn. "I am assuming this man you're looking for is Takeo Uchiha? If so you did mention him when you first showed up here. I have slight loyalty towards Shirokuro, I don't plan on betraying him unless he gives me a reason.... to be honest I don't care." Kurai's tongue began to also numb, but it was minor. "If you're looking for Takeo, I believe I know where he is.... he left the village around the time I did. He might belong to the Naruto clan now..."

Kigen sat there on the lake contemplating the possibility that Takeo had been so close to him when Shirokuro had found him. He had been so close. Standing up Kigen looked at Kurai. The man didn't seem intimidating at all to Kigen however he had to test it out. "Kurai, I want to see what you can do. I have no wish to fight you but I'm interested." Is there something special about this one Kigen thought to himself. "What makes you unique?"

Kurai sighed as this is the second time someone asked him to do this. "Sure... I'll show you some of my power." Kurai closed his eyes, and as he opened them his Sharingan was activated. There was a tree in-front of him, from across the water. He would have to maintain chidori and enough chakra control to stay on the water. He used Chidorigatana - One Thousand Birds Katana, onto his nuibari. Holding it in his hand, he then used Kyuuken Ryuu: Kyuuho - Swift Fist Style: Swift Step. Running forward he laced his needle through the tree trunk. There was a burst of lightning as the tree trunk snapped, flipping up he landed on the falling tree trunk. Pulling onto his threading nuibari came flying back into his hands. As he jumped back onto the water the tree trunk fell in. He walked back over to Kigen, looking at the man. "There you go," as he said this the lightning on his blade fizzled away.

Kigen watched as Kurai displayed a bit of what he could do. Kigen's face was blank but on the inside he was happy. Kurai had the Sharingan. "You possess the Sharingan as well. What can you do with it? How strong is Takeo's in comparison to yours?" Kigen wondered if Kurai was stronger then Takeo. They both possessed the Sharingan and so would probably be evenly matched. Although Shirokuro had mentioned that Takeo had managed to advance his even further. Kigen needed to find this Uchiha. He needed to test his strength against someone who had unlocked the power of the legendary Sharingan. The fight would be worthy of Kigen's talents.

"Well if I remember correctly Takeo focuses on genjutsu. So anything physical you use against him is pretty much rendered useless. You have to beat him in a battle of the mind, not physical body. Also his Sharingan is quote on quote advanced. I don't know what that means, but It must be better than mine. I don't plan on fighting Takeo, he doesn't matter to me. If I'm given a formal mission or informal mission, I'll do it." Kurai sat down and looked around, Kigen was sure curious about Takeo. "So.... why are you so interested in Takeo anyways?" I've got to go to Shirokuro! "Sorry Kigen, but Shiro needs me for something."Kurai has left this thread!
