Izumi is a very out-spoken, up beat, and rowdy character that's as explosive as his jutsu. He's very spontaneous, and doesn't like to sit still in an office at a desk doing paper work. Izumi loves to fight, and never backs down from one, and believes in his own power. He likes to test himself against other people to advise himself if he needs to go train and get more powerful, and if this is the case, Izumi will come back after training when he's stronger and fight the same person again!

Izumi is a very large man, standing at 6'2, and is a very large man, and instead of gaining fat from eating so much like the rest of the users of the Size Manipulation Hiden do he gained a mass amount of muscle. He's a very bulky man, with large muscles throughout his body. He has fairly long dark brown hair, with bangs fairly high above his eyes, and the rest of his hair goes down to the top of his neck, and covers his ears. His hair is a bit spiked, and he has dark brown eyes, and dark tanned skin. He normally wears a white and black kimono, black base color and white lining. He carries his cleaver on his back, wears traditional ninja tabi, and wears his hitai-ate around his right bicep.

Explosion Release (爆遁, Bakuton) is a hiden that produces chakra into explosive jutsu or clay. This jutsu gives the wielder the ability to utilize explosive chakra in combat, allowing them to cause explosions in objects they come into contact with. By saying "tatsu" and holding the dragon hand seal, the user can explode the explosive clay preformed with the Bakuton jutsu.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach the moment an attack hits. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. The user can then use this confusion to escape or launch a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Basically all ninja know this technique.

This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. This puts much mental strain on an inexperienced ninja.The transformation would be dispelled when the user is injured or hit.

This is a technique where the user encases themselves in a countless number of sharp needles, but in truth, the spikes are the user's hair. Chakra grants the strands of hair the hardness and shape of needles. Endowed with a capacity to injure and kill on par with that of metallic weapons. In addition, if activated in response to an opponent's attack, it can also be used as a counter. The hair is made hard enough that it can withstand blows from certain types of weapons such as arrows.

The user control the Bubun Baika no Jutsu to their leg, and uses it to dash forward with blinding speed. While doing this, the user can't move at all, except in a forward dash, and can't move their arms or legs except for running and holding their bladed weapon outward. This jutsu is hard to block if taken on directly, because it pierces very well, but is easier to deflect off at an angle to make the weapon ricochet. This jutsu is hard, but not impossible, to react to, due to the user of the size of the users foot to increase their speed. This jutsu takes high chakra control, and is very taxing on the body if used in rapid secession.

While some may see it as "Superhuman Strength", this technique is actually an application of medical ninjutsu, that demands the ability to concentrate and minute chakra control. An immense amount of chakra is kneaded inside the body, and a moment later all of it it is gathered into the fist. That chakra is then released into the target, which does a great amount of damage. With the damage done dependent on the amount of chakra used, it is also possible for a skilled shinobi to amass it in their fingertip. When the ground is hit it is pulverized into minute pieces by the excess shock, which are then scattered like flower petals, giving rise to the name "Cherry Blossom Impact".

The user focuses earth release chakra in their lungs and then releases it into a massive wave of dirt, dust, and shards of rock that can leave small cuts on the targets, from their mouth. Although, this jutsu can be used as an escape, its main purpose is that of distracting and possibly even blinding an unsuspecting opponent that doesn't close their eyes quickly so that they can follow up with another attack. While in this jutsu, targets with Doujutsu such as the Saibougan, Ongengan, and Byakugan will still be able to locate the target in some way, but targets with others such as the Sharingan and Yahigan won't be able to.

This feature combined with their little independent explosive power, makes them excellent for covert operations. A user can produce and release a significant number of them at high speeds.

This gives this attack the power to even cave in the earth, causing extensive crushing damage to anything that may be caught beneath them. This attack is also shown to have a wide range due to the increased size of his palms.

    Izumi got his explosive personality from his powerful mother and father that guided him to become the man he is today. Always telling to him "don't let others get you down, no matter what they say," and "never give up, give it all you got, no matter what." This is now burned into Izumi's memory, and it shapes him into the warrior he is now. And it reminds him of the reason he can never stop fighting.

    As a young boy, Izumi came outside of his house which was by the village gates and decided to take a walk alone out of the village. When he departed from his home, he saw a butterfly and tried to catch it, which sent him far off his normal trail that he walked, getting him lost. While walking around, alone scared and confused, in the dark he stumbled into a clearing with a woman and 3 men surrounding her. The men were wearing black cloaks with their hoods up so that he couldn't make out their faces, but by the time he got there he wouldn't have been able to do anything anyway. Not that it would have mattered when he arrived, he was so weak at that age that he wouldn't have been able to stop the woman from being killed and her possessions stolen.

    He beats himself up about it now, and uses it as a reason to keep himself fired up at all costs and always on his toes trying to get stronger every day. He won't stop until he dies, or until he feels he is strong enough and that the woman he watched die will forgive him. Although he doesn't show it through his personality, rather it seems like he enjoys fighting, he's only fighting for that reason and that reason alone. And because of this, he has his eyes set on becoming stronger than even the Kage of his village some day, though in a respectful manner and doesn't wish to forcefully take his power. He wants to be revered throughout his clan, and be loved by all, and when that happens he will forgive himself and he hopes that the woman will forgive him as well.


    His parents now live in a retirement home within his home village, and he has taken the family home. He lives alone in his small house, in his backyard is a small coy fish pond with no coy fish, but rather his only companion. He keeps a friend he calls "Tama" who is a turtle and keeps him company while he's at home and not on a mission or at the bar. He spends most of his time at home, training with a multiple of dummies that he has in his back yard, at the bar drinking and mingling with acquaintances, or on hard missions that he likes to test himself with!
