Shōton
The Crystal Release (晶遁, Shōton;) is a rare and specialized field of elemental ninjutsu that can create crystal as well as manipulate already-existing crystals and crystalline structures. The user has the ability to use the kekkai genkai to either support, attack or defend ones self or others. This is quite rare among people and usually is not found within many peoples bloodline history. The elements that are combined to make this kekkai genkai are Doton and Raiton.

Name: Kesshō: Rokkaku Shuriken - Crystal: Hexagonal Shuriken

The user creates several crystal shuriken and launches them at the opponent. The shuriken are six-sided with spikes at the sides of each blade, resembling snowflakes.

The user creates a large mirror in the shape of a snowflake, which the user can then use to perform the Jade Crystal Clone Technique.

Hand seals: Ram
Requirements: Doton and Raiton
The user creates a dome of crystal to surround a target. It is moderately durable from both external and internal attacks, and can be used to either protect or trap a target. This jutsu can be used on multiple occasions but tears away chakra after a while.

This technique allows the user to cover her skin with a thin sheet of crystal that improves the users defense against physical attacks. This armor can also aid the user to perform stronger physical attacks. The crystal is transparent and can only be noticed by light reflecting off it.

Hand seals: Horse → Ox → Boar → Snake
Requirements: Doton and Raiton
With this technique, the user can quickly form a blade made of crystal on her arm, and use it in a manner reminiscent of a tantō. Blades can be formed on both arms if needed. The blades are quite sharp and are able to cut through flesh pretty easily.

The user creates growing thorn-like crystals that she can manipulate to continuously grow towards her target's direction. The blades on the crystal are quite sharp and will pierce if the target is hit by one of the following crystals, the target will be hurt quite a little bit.

After the user performs the Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Mirror, the user can make multiple clones of themself emerge from the mirror. These clones are made of crystal, Clones made by this technique are also able to deceive Byakugan users because of the reflective nature of the clone. However, by focusing their sight, this can be circumvented.

he user crystallizes a material in the area, and then turns it into a dragon. It can be used as a means to travel or to attack a target. Only one larger dragon can be made at once but can be manipulated in anyway as in you can control it to wherever you want it to go.

Requirements: Doton and Raiton
First the user creates a large number of crystal flowers. Then she can grow these flowers into a gigantic labyrinth consisting of red crystals. Enemies trapped inside it will mostly be lost because of the fact that the red crystals reflect their personal image as well as generates mirror images of the routes, paths, and details within the labyrinth, confusing and intimidating them. It is even capable of confusing the Byakugan because of its reflective nature.
Because of the crystal's stable molecular structure, a simple attack focused at one point is rendered useless, and its wide surface will disperse the force of wide range attacks, reducing their effectiveness. To overcome this technique, an attack with a great force and depending on range, will penetrate the technique.
