Information: Big steps have been happening in Magattatsuki, assassinations of Shogun's, and now a less flashy step but just as important for Magattatsuki. You are to find any information on a group of shinobi that are apparently searching for Magattatsuki and the assassins that took out the shogun. If you run into them you have the option to run or to end their lives, they are apparently strong though, so be on your toes.

Kigen stood leaning against a tree in a small clearing. His sword was sheathed and his mind wandered over what he knew. Shirokuro had tasked him with gathering information on a group that was hunting Kigen's new allies. The information had been easy to gather. People tend to tell you everything when you torture their entire village. Kigen knew that there were four shinobi in the hunting party. Two male and two female. After a ruckus in the village they had intervened and displayed some of their abilities. The dark haired girl was capable of using her own blood as a weapon. The dark haired man was also capable of this but apparently wasn't as skilled. Kigen believed the two to be siblings while the other two weren't all that special. Confident in his ability Kigen had deliberately left a trail of clues about his whereabouts and had simply waited for them to come to him. The sun would slowly dip over the horizon within the next hour. Their assault was close, Kigen could tell.

Kigen's eyes were a bright yellow as the last glimpse of the sun disappeared. The natural strength and energy he felt slowly faded as his eyes changed colour. The paleness of them shone as the moon rose and Kigen felt his reflexes quicken slightly. A brush nearby rustled and he felt the urge to run. The need to fight was fading however Kigen had a mission. There was payment to be had and these shinobi weren't going to leave this clearing alive. Kigen glanced to his left noting one of his targets. The night vision strengthened as he picked another target. His eyes couldn't find the other two so they were either behind him or a distance away. "Let's see if any of you are worth the edge of my blade." With that Kigen cracked his knuckles and began to walk towards the enemy in front of him.

Kigen's target was the dark haired man he knew to be a user of his own blood. Kigen knew that he had to kill the man quickly and to try not to use anything that would make the man bleed. Kigen had heard stories of those that used their own blood. They were quick to anger especially if someone else spilled their blood. The slow walk Kigen displayed let him close some distance without raising to much alert. The dark haired man seemingly jumped backwards behind more cover. Almost as if he had heard that Kigen was coming for him. Kigen was put of by this and once again the need to flee kicked in. Refusing to listen as he wished to be paid for blood not information. Spinning around he noticed three figures on the other side of the clearing. One was the skilled blood user with dark hair. The other two didn't resemble each other in anyway one of them having red hair and the other blonde. Longing for someone to test his power he wished to remove the weaker ones first before taking her on. They would only get in the way after all.

"Draw your blade swordsman, lest you feel like dying without a struggle." The dark haired girl spoke out to him. Kigen wasn't impressed by her words although it did tell him that they heard him before. "The Shougun begged for his life the way a child would." Kigen had spoken the words so lowly that those close to him wouldn't of been able to make out the full sentence. "Shut your mouth you piece of shit!" The blonde shouted to him angrily. Kigen thought she was a foolish woman. She was the one that was able to hear him which meant there was also something special about her. "Care to dance?" Kigen was again talking so softly they wouldn't be able to hear him. The blonde woman drew a Kunai and stepped forward. Kigen smirked to himself as the blonde took the lead as the three rushed towards him.

Kigen breathed in the night air as it sent a chill down his spine. The blonde came in first and tried to slice him with her kunai. A weak attack even if it had of connected. It didn't however as Kigen swayed out of the way. A second later the red haired man came over the top of her with a Katana. The sideways cleave wasn't aimed for his neck but instead it came across just above eye level. As a swordsman Kigen knew why the attack was aimed where it was. By having the blade pass at that height it drew the eyes ever so slightly upward. Kigen surged his chakra down towards the earth turning it to a liquid as he slipped underneath it. The dark haired girl came through a split second from his left with a Tanto that would of slid easily through his rib cage and pierced his heart. Moving back towards where he first spotted the three Kigen rose out of the ground. "Out for blood are we?" Kigen spread his arms wide. Having revealed a chakra nature already he raised his hands and took on a relaxed fighting stance. "My turn."

Dashing in with his full speed looking to catch one of them off guard Kigen raised his fists to be in front of his face. The dark haired girl reacted first diving to her side she only had enough time to save herself. The red haired man swung his katana at the blur that passed him missing completely. The blonde didn't move at all. Kigen grasped her Kunai as he neared her and wrenched it out of her hand barely even slowing for a full second. "If you want to hit me you probably should of done so during the day." Kigen held the Kunai next to him before throwing it at full strength at a nearby tree. With his mere strength alone the kunai was buried to the grip in the large tree. "Seeing as you will all die here, I'll answer one question from each of you if it is in my power to do so. Just so you know the truth before you die." Gripping the handle of his sword he brought it in front of him still sheathed.

Kigen stuck his tongue out as he waited for the question. The black seal mark was prominent. With his night vision Kigen noticed the younger kid from before standing on the edge of the clearing. "He has a seal on his tongue. He also said if it was in his power he would answer it. It must be a restriction seal that means he can't talk about certain things." The dark haired girl spat all of that out and barely pausing in between statements. "Who killed the Shougun?" The red haired man piqued up first. Kigen didn't think it was a smart question but he answered it nonetheless. "The one that killed him is the one that died by his hand." Kigen stuck his tongue back out at them. "Idiot. That was hardly a good use of your question." The blonde scolded him quite amusingly.

The blonde looked at Kigen up and down before asking her question. "What chakra natures do you have other then Doton and why are your eyes shining so?" Kigen thought this was probably a very good question to ask is may of helped them defeat him. If Kigen were a lesser man perhaps. "Raiton. Because they draw power from the moon. This increases my reflexes and eyesight. For example I can see your friend over there despite the fact its almost completely dark tonight. During the day My eyes take in the power of the sun and strengthen my muscles and chakra." Kigen once again stuck his tongue out. The blonde thought for a moment before speaking back. "Thats why you told us if we were to hit you it had to be during the day." Kigen simply nodded before moving his eyes to the dark haired girl.

The dark haired girl asked the question Kigen had been hoping would be asked first. "Who placed the seal on your tongue and why would you let him?" Kigen withdrew his tongue. "Because he is helping me to find someone, in return i'm lending him my sword." Sticking his tongue out briefly Kigen continued his speaking. "The man I work for is Shi...." The tongue became numb as the seal kicked in. Glowing ever so slightly the mark flared as pain was sent all over Kigen's body. Convulsing all over Kigen shook it off and drew his blade. The long weapon made a rasping sound as the scabbard was removed. Lightning covered the mans body as his reflexes quickened even further. "Run."

The red haired man formed quick hand seals before slamming them into the ground. A huge wall of earth rose up quickly in between Kigen and his prey. Kigen began laughing as he ran with his full speed at the wall. Letting his mind shift into the Kuma no michi - The way of the Bear Kigen also formed some quick seals. Raiton: Kangekiha - Lightning Release: Wave of Inspiration was the jutsu he used and lightning coated his entire blade. As he neared the wall Kigen slashed at it two handed. The wall's natural weakness to lightning made the wall part like a hot knife through butter. The gash left in it was quickly followed up by a mirrored version. The result was a large X cut through it. Rotating his body from the second swing he lifted his leg and kicked with his full force at the center of the X. The lightning covering his body again added to the force of the kick. The wall crumbled.

The dark haired girl stood with long cuts down each of her arms. The blonde's right arm was oddly muscular and the red haired man, well he was holding a hand seal. The hand seal was the snake seal and Kigen noticed that behind the wall he crumpled were three other walls. The man had made a room with them in it. Kigen felt the earth rumble before glancing behind him. Another wall rose up however this one was made from wood. Kigen's eye's lit up as he realized they meant to try and fight him. The cut's on her arms were pouring blood. The blood quickly formed into two clones of herself. From the wood behind him he heard footsteps. After a quick glance Kigen confirmed that two red haired clones were behind him. Kigen half expected the blonde to make some clones as well however she didn't. The way of the Bear left him as Kigen formed his own hand seal. The snake seal was signature of Doton and he knew they knew. But they didn't exactly know what he had done.

Kigen began hovering above the ground. In the blink of an eye he had dashed backwards towards the two clones of the red haired man. With a simple cleave the two were split in half. As the clones fell apart Kigen let his mind stray down the path of the tiger. Looking back to the red haired man himself Kigen dashed at him. The man bought his own katana up but it was clear he wasn't quite sure how to effectively block such a long blade. Kigen started a flurry of attacks. Each slice shaved off a bit of skin due to it being incorrectly blocked. The lightning over the weapon had also effected him making the red haired man strangely numb all over. Kigen stepped back after having made ten strokes with his sword. "Cut a man a hundred times and let him bleed out." The way of the tiger left him and the path of the bear followed. Holding his blade out before him he formed another snake seal and he hit the ground. Lifting the weapon with two hands it was clear he had made it heavier. "Force is equal to mass times acceleration. It's over." Dashing forwards for one last assault Kigen swung at head height with two hands. The man panicked and brought his own katana up in defense. Kigen's blade tore through it easily and continued to separate the man's head from his shoulders. The wooden wall behind them began to wilt. Kigen shook his head feeling his mind grasp out at things randomly as he let the bear leave him.

The other two stood speechless. Everything that had happened had happened so fast. They couldn't possibly keep up with Kigen. The fear surrounded them and the dark haired girl thought about her brother. "RUN!" That was the word she managed to yell out to him as Kigen rushed her next. Bringing the hilt of his blade up he struck her under the chin. The force of it alone crushed her jaw instantly. Kigen hardened his head with the Doton: Domu - Earth Release: Earth Spear and head butted her nose. The hardened surface made the nose break violently. The blonde haired girl tried desperately to launch an attack. After forming hand seals Suiton: Daikoudan no Jutsu - Water Release: Great Shark Bullet Technique was launched at Kigen. Whirling from his current prey and the sound of water Kigen quickly slipped underground. The shark hit the dark haired girl and left her lying in a heap. Popping out of the ground nearby Kigen saw the blonde at the brunettes side crying about how she was sorry. The brunette's eyes fluttered open before smiling and saying it was ok. Nothing was ok.

Kigen let the added weight of the sword leave it and dashed towards them both. The blade thrust through them piercing them both in the heart. Both were killed instantly. In a blood fueled rage Kigen flew upwards his eyes searching frantically. There through the trees he caught a glimpse of someone jumping away in the branches. Kigen flew after him with speed. The younger ninja was frantically trying to escape his teams fate. Kigen dashed down and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. Using the same technique he had used on himself Kigen managed to lift the boy one handed and carry him back to the the other bodies. Kigen dropped him next to his dead sister who was covered in blood. The boy wailed out for his loss. Kigen almost felt a pang of guilt but quickly silenced it letting his lightning cloak fade and his weight displacing jutsu leave both him and the boy. Forming more hand seals Kigen spoke with hate. "Doton Kekkai: Dorou Doumu - Earth Release Barrier: Earth Prison Dome of Magnificent Nothingness" The dome formed quickly around the three corpses and the one left alive. The chakra began to flow back into Kigen. Before long the boy passed out but Kigen kept the dome standing.
